Children exposed to second-hand smoke are more at risk of nicotine dependence,reports journal Addictive Behaviors.A Canadian study,which looked at 1,800 school children aged between 10 and 12 years,found that 5 percent of children who never smoked a cigarette,but had inhaled second hand smoke on cars or their homes,reported symptoms of nicotine dependence.The children were at risk for nicotine withdrawal symptoms like depression,insomnia,irritability and concentration problems...
